In addition to direct partnership with hospitals and other healthcare facilities, Healwell provides fee-for-service inpatient and outpatient massage therapy throughout the Washington, DC metro area.

Healwell changes the way it feels to live with acute, chronic, and serious illness by providing clinically exceptional and compassionate massage therapy in hospitals and other care settings.

Inpatient Massage Therapy

Children's National Hospital, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown, and INOVA Fairfax

Our team of massage therapists provides specifically adapted and supportive massage therapy for adults and children at Children's National Hospital, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown, and INOVA Fairfax. Rates:

30 minutes $50

60 minutes $100

Payment: A credit card is required to secure your appointment. Your card will not be charged until after your massage session.

*Please note: Our massage therapists are credentialed by the hospitals as medical staff and therefore cannot accept tips. You are welcome to express your appreciation by making a donation to Healwell.

Outpatient Massage Therapy

We also bring this care directly to you in your home.

Our team of massage therapists provides specifically adapted and supportive massage therapy for adults and children in and around Washington, DC.

Rates:

$150 for 60 minutes (if you have a massage table or hospital bed)

$170 for 60 minutes (if the therapist must bring a massage table)

Payment: A credit card is required to schedule your appointment. Your card will not be charged until after the massage session.

Life With Cancer

Free and Discounted Massage Program

Healwell is pleased to partner with INOVA and Life with Cancer to offer three free massage therapy sessions to INOVA patients affected by cancer who are in active treatment or are in stages of advanced disease.

Active treatment is defined as patients currently undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, proton therapy, aromatase inhibitors and immunotherapy.

If you would like to participate in this program please complete the form and Healwell's Service Coordinator will contact you.

Healwell also partners with Life with Cancer to provide discounted massage therapy ($70/session) to patients who have finished their free sessions, caregivers, and cancer patients who are receiving their oncology care outside of the INOVA healthcare system.
