Massage Therapist
Julie is a graduate of the Northern School of Therapeutic Massage. In 2015 she became certified as a Complete Decongestive therapist in Manual Lymphatic Drainage with the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. Through the Healwell organization she continued her studies and received her certification in Oncology, and Scar Tissue Mobilization.
During her Oncology studies, Julie was accepted into a stewardship program with Healwell, at the Virginia Hospital Center. This hospital-based massage program gave her a greater depth and appreciation working within the clinical environment. She feels her journey is just beginning, with lots of encouragement and guidance, she is becoming a better practitioner and human. Julie is a member of the ATMA, American Therapeutic Massage Association and National Lymphedema Network.
