Become a donor.
I’ll bet you knew I was going to say that. We love all our donors and when I say that no gift is too small, I mean it. Healwell’s programs are sustained and grown by all of our donors. Every single dollar makes a difference for real people.
Healwell is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. So 100% of your donation is tax-deductible.
Become a monthly recurring donor.
This is one of my personal favorites. While it’s not really possible for me to give the kind of single, large gift I might wish I could give, I can afford to give a smaller amount every month.
Monthly recurring donations make budgeting and planning easier for both the donor and for Healwell. And again, no amount is too small.
Invite your company/employer to match your gift
This is an option that a lot of people miss. Donation matching is a corporate giving initiative in which an employer matches their employee's contribution to a charity, increasing the gift. Invite your company/employer to match your gift and make your contribution even more powerful. With matching, your $50 donation can become $100... just like that!

Give through Donor-Advised Funds.
Healwell accepts gifts from all DAF platforms. Donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity.
When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a donor-advised fund at a public charity (Fidelity Charitable is one example, but there are many others) you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Then those funds can be invested for tax-free growth, and you can recommend grants (and even recurring gifts!) to Healwell.
Give through a Qualified Charitable Contribution.
Donors 70.5 years and older can transfer directly from their Traditional IRA to Healwell. You'll see meaningful tax benefits from your donation to Healwell. Everybody wins!

Start a Facebook fundraiser.
Is it your birthday? Or just a day you’re feeling generous? Facebook makes it very easy for you to create a fundraiser for the charity of your choice (ahem… Healwell).
Make a bequest or a planned gift.
Giving to Healwell can be done either directly, through your life insurance, or through a gift model that can provide you with tax benefits. Talk with your lawyer about various gift models that you might consider.
