Healwell was founded in 2010 and has grown steadily in size and impact since then. We make massage therapists matter. We collaborate across health care disciplines to lift up caregivers with exceptional education and interdisciplinary service programs. We host a podcast and publish blogs that make our listeners and readers think hard and feel deeply. We change the experience of illness for real people. And that’s all before noon!
Our staff is passionate, community-minded and hilarious. Our Board of Directors and Squads are peopled by humans of the very highest vibration who want to make their volunteer hours count. We are so glad you’re here and interested in joining our family.
So, how do you want to play with Healwell?
Board of Directors
This team of visionary folks meet 4-6 times a year and create and hold the strategic vision of the organization. They commit between 8 and 12 hours a month to Healwell-related endeavors and serve as our most important ambassadors.
Squads
Squads are smaller teams of skill-specific folks who meet monthly or every other month to address specific program and issue areas of Healwell’s work. They commit between 2 and 4 hours a month to Healwell-related endeavors. Squads can be a great place to get started with Healwell if you’re intrigued by board service, but not quite ready to make that commitment.
